Hikal: Quality And Care

A Valued Partner

One of Hikal’s key strengths as a company is its emphasis on the quality of its modern plants and talented personnel. With manufacturing facilities for herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and intermediates, Hikal has become a valued partner to many companies in the crop protection industry.

Hikal’s business includes operations such as ammoxidation, chlorination, amidine synthesis, non-phosgene carbonation, dithiocarbamates from carbon disulfide and ammonia, nitration and esterification, halogenation, hydrogenation, chiral chemistry, high vacuum fractionation, and batch and continuous chemical functions.

World-Class Facilities

The company’s multiple sites across India — which include manufacturing facilities in Mahad, Tajola, Maharashtra, Dombivili, and Panoli, as well as a research and development center in Bangalore — all live up to international levels of quality control. Hikal’s plants are ISO 14001 environmentally-certified, and in 2000, its Tajola factory received the British Safety Council award for excellent health, safety, and environmental standards. The company also is a signatory of the Responsible Care movement.
