The AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit continues to be the premier event for the crop inputs industry. Now in it’s 12th year, the event — co-located with Biostimulant CommerceCon — brings together the buyers and sellers of crop inputs. The program opened with a keynote from Valagro CEO Giuseppe Natale, who talked about how the future of the ag industry and what the modern portfolio should look like. It seems the industry is facing a number of disruptive issues — from new products to new and changing business practices. The event’s educational programming explores these disruptive forces and provides executives with insights on how to navigate the changes to their businesses.

Giuseppe Natale Keynote Address
Valagro CEO Giuseppe Natale delivers the keynote address on opening day of the AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit. Natale presented on the Modern Portfolio or what the agricultural company of the future will look like. His talk included the strategies and business practices required to attain success. Progressive companies in agriculture are expanding portfolios into new inputs, investing in technology, and expanding their global reach.

Industry Impact Award
The AgriBusiness Global recognized Italpollina as the winner of the Industry Impact Award for the company's success, innovation, and strategy in the biostimulant sector. The supplier of biostimulant products earned the recognition for the way it leverages product innovation, its distribution strategy, and change-making marketing and communications campaign that was able to bring this emerging trend to the forefront of the agribusiness marketplace. Italpollina's Jon Leman (center) received the award from AgriBusiness Global Business Manager Rebecca Bartels and Meister Media Worldwide CEO and Chairman Gary Fitzgerald.

Trade Summit Opens
Delegates streaming into the show floor at the start of the 12th annual AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit. This year's event is being held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The program is being held in conjunction with the first ever BiostimulantCommerceCon.

Representatives from more than 40 countries attend the annual AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit. Attendees include: buyers, sellers, importers, exporters, trading companies, distributors, and procurement professionals who trade crop protection and plant health product; biological control research and manufacturing companies; makers of biostimulants, micronutrients, and other plant health products; and registration consultants, market analysts, and data consultancies.

Day One of the Trade Summit was capped of with a cocktail reception sponsored by Sulphur mills limited. One of the highlights were the Indian dancers who performed on stage and while the were among the attendees.
