The crisis in the Russian agrochemicals sector is deepening, due to tightening sanctions, political pressure, and deterioration of the country’s economic situation.

Following years of double-digit growth the country’s crop input manufacturers expect slower growth due to myriad issues.

Agrochemical imports to Russia was expected to decline, mainly due to production shutdowns at major Russian trading partners in Europe, China, and Israel.

Growing demand on the global markets for high-quality agricultural production will secure further growth of the crop protection market in Russia.
