AgriBusiness Global’s Trade Summit, which celebrated its 10th anniversary with the 2016 edition, was the biggest yet with 750 attendees from 45 countries. This year’s show was held at the Caribe Royale hotel in Orlando, Florida, USA, 17-19 August. The Trade Summit helps fulfill the magazine’s goal of bringing to buyers and sellers of crop protection products. Here are just a few scenes from this year’s Trade Summit.

Kleffmann’s Dr. Bob Fairclough, keynote of Day talks about the state of the crop protection market. For the first time in six years, the crop protection market saw a decrease in growth dropping from about $60.5 billion in 2014 to $54.6 billion in harvest year 2015. Fairclough also noted that the U.S. overtook Brazil as the largest market with sales approaching $8 billion when measured at ex-company level, with Brazil lagging behind by about $100 million.
