DuPont’s Rynaxypyr Products Approved In US, Canada
DuPont Crop Protection has received approvals for two Rynaxypyr (chlorantraniliprole) insectides, Altacor and Coragen, on a number of fruit and vegetable crops in the US and Canada.
The products, which already are registered in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Romania, are also under joint review in the EU, Australia, and New Zealand.
Altacor is a 35% WDG formulation which has been approved for use on grapevines, pome and stone fruit, cotton, and potatoes. Coragen is an SC formulation for vegetables including brassicas, cucurbits, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers. The products are effective against Lepidoptera, leafminers, and various coleopterans, according to DuPont.
