Deere Acquires Leading Drip Irrigation Company
3 June 2008 US-based farming equipment manufacturer Deere & Company has acquired T-Systems International, Inc., expanding Deere’s growing John Deere Water Technologies operation.
In a company release, Michael McGrady, president of John Deere Water Technologies, called T-Systems "a highly regarded global company with premier products, experienced talent, strong distribution, and established operations in key agricultural irrigation markets." He added that the acquisition will expand the John Deere Water Technologies manufacturing bases to three countries, and its marketing ability to over 60.
John Deere Water Technologies is a manufacturer of high performance plastic micro and drip irrigation products for the agricultural, nursery, landscape, and greenhouse markets.
