The biologicals market is a segment reaping the fruits of these collaborations. Take, for instance, the recent partnership between AgBiome and Ginkgo BioWorks. By leveraging Ginkgo’s ultra-high throughput encapsulated screening capabilities, AgBiome aims to provide growers with new and improved live microbial strain products.
“We are thrilled to work with an industry leader like AgBiome as we seek to optimize live microbial strain products in their pipeline and provide even better solutions to growers around the world,” said Magalie Guilhabert, Head of Ag Biologicals, Ginkgo Bioworks.
Another recent example of collaboration in the biologicals market is between AMVAC and NewLeaf Symbiotics. The partnership bolsters AMVAC’s growing GreenSolutions biological portfolio, while enabling NewLeaf Symbiotics to gain wider market access in 2023.
“AMVAC continues to innovate using its own internal research capabilities as well as establishing partnerships with leading biological companies,” said Bob Trogele, COO and Executive Vice President, AMVAC. “With NewLeaf Symbiotics, we look forward to enhancing access to value-added biologicals that benefit North American farmers.”
In addition to these alliances, we’ve identified nine other recently announced partnerships that demonstrate the value of aligning strengths for the benefit of growers (and the environment). View the slideshow above to see the full list.
