UPL sold its stake to Italy-based Sipcam S.p.A..

UPL sold its stake to Italy-based Sipcam S.p.A..

UPL Ltd. announced in June that it would pull out of a joint venture with Sipcam UPL Brasil S.A. and sell its 50% stake in the company for $58.5 million, according to a report in RTTNews. The buyer is Italy-based Sipcam S.p.A.

UPL’s remaining presence in Brazil consists of a 73% share of a company named UPL do Brasil Industria e Comerciode Insumos Agropecuarios S.A.
