DuPont, BP Partner In Biofuels
The biofuel can be made with corn grain, wheat, sugar beets, sugar cane, and sorghum, and in the future the companies expect to produce it with cellulose-based crops as well, such as corn stalks or switchgrass.
Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., a subsidiary of DuPont, will play a role in the partnership to develop, produce, and market a next generation of biofuels to help meet increasing global demand for renewable transport fuels.
